Physical Exercise Paragraph [Class 8-12]
There is a famous proverb that goes, "Health is wealth". Prosperity will be in vain if we are not healthy enough to enjoy it. To keep up good health, physical exercises are a must. Physical exercise is a set of physical movements to improve one's body structure and maintain it. There are many kinds of physical exercises needed for different purposes. Everybody needs to exercise regularly to improve and maintain their shape. Many people don't seem to be interested in physical exercise as they do not understand its importance of it. Surveys say that those who practice physical exercises properly live a much healthier and longer life than those who do not. The reason why many people avoid doing physical exercise is that they might find it hard. It happens because of choosing the wrong type of physical exercise. Each body is different. Some might have heart issues, respiratory problems, past fractures, etc. That is why everybody needs to choose the type of physical exercise that will suit their health. There are many kinds of it such as walking, running, jogging, swimming, biking, yoga, callisthenics, hiking, strength training, aerobics and so on. Moreover, any kind of activities that include regulated movements of the body such as dancing, gymnastics, sports, athletics, etc. is also considered physical activities or exercises. People who are young and sound can choose any kind of physical exercise as per their choice. As for the old people, they can choose to walk or do mild jogging to keep fit. Exercises such as running, strength training, swimming, hiking, biking, sports, athletics, etc. need training and practice. Physicians usually do not recommend people with heart, respiratory or any kind of health conditions to do these heavy physical activities. Callisthenics, yoga, gymnastics, etc. are seen to be practised from a young age. Adults can also start but these kinds of physical activities also need the practice to gain the ultimate flexibility. There are so many physical exercises that are suitable for different kinds of people. Walking can be done by anyone. Doctors, nutritionists, and physicians recommend it to everyone with diabetes, obesity and beginners. Many people do not even start doing physical exercise for fear of difficulties and hardship. Walking or playing a sport one likes could be a start to a regulated physical exercise routine. The importance of physical exercise is beyond explanation. Choosing the right physical exercise for oneself and doing it regularly can improve strength, respiratory conditions, bone structure and defects, posture, heart rate, diabetes, obesity and so on. Physical exercises can also improve agility and flexibility. Those who practice physical exercise are seen to be more immune from diseases and build a healthy body. It is also seen that people practising physical exercises regularly, lead a more disciplined life than others. But, it also has to be in our mind that physical exercise will be helpful if done on a regular basis. We have to be careful about choosing the difficulty level according to our abilities. Overall, we should encourage ourselves to lead a healthy life through physical exercises. Arranging physical exercises in schools, and colleges; arranging an annual sports day, campaigning to inspire people to do physical exercises, etc. can be done to promote it. In the end, we should do physical exercise as a part of our lifestyle, not just for a day or two.
